What is Star Fling?
Star Fling is a one-tap endless orbital slingshot game. Your ball orbits around gravity wells — tap at the right moment to release it along the tangent and fling it toward the next well. Chain quick releases for combo multipliers, skip wells for bonus points, and watch the difficulty ramp up as wells shrink and spacing widens. Choose Classic mode for a pure one-life challenge, or Party mode for extra lives, power-ups like magnets and rockets, and a more forgiving experience.

How to Play Star Fling
Your ball orbits a gravity well automatically. Tap the screen (or click / press Space) to release it — the ball launches along the tangent of its orbit. Aim for the next gravity well; when the ball enters its capture radius it locks on and starts orbiting again. Repeat to climb higher and score points. In the first 5 flings a dotted prediction line helps you aim. Gravity pulls the ball downward during flight, so aim slightly above your target. In Party mode, collect power-ups scattered between wells to gain advantages.
Tips and Tricks for Star Fling
- Release within 1.2 seconds of capture to trigger a combo bonus — chain combos for massive score multipliers
- Skip a well to earn double points, but it's riskier at higher speeds
- In clockwise orbits the tangent aims upper-right; in counter-clockwise it aims upper-left — learn to read the spin
- Use the prediction line on your first 5 flings to build intuition for tangent angles
- In Party mode, adjust your release angle slightly to pick up power-ups between wells
- Gravity pulls the ball down during flight — always aim a bit higher than the target well

If you release the ball within 1.2 seconds of being captured, you trigger a combo. Chain combos to climb tiers: 2-chain QUICK, 3-chain FAST, 4-chain BLAZING, 5-chain INSANE, and 6+ chain GODLIKE. Higher tiers give bigger score bonuses.
Magnet (blue) expands the next well's capture radius for easier catches. Rocket (pink) auto-teleports you through 3 wells instantly. Heart (red) restores one life, up to the 5-life cap.
